Bear Witness Charity was born from a simple desire to honor Jesus Christ through service.
More than fifteen years ago, my wife Julie and I began participating in local food drives and community outreach efforts. Since then, we have donated more than 1,200 pounds of food to churches, food pantries, and families in need. Along the way, we have supported charitable causes through volunteer efforts and community events, always with a heart to serve others.
Over time, God began to place a larger vision on our hearts. We realized that many churches, schools, shelters, and nonprofit organizations are already doing incredible work in their communities. Rather than duplicating those efforts, we wanted to help strengthen and support them.
That vision became Bear Witness Charity.
Inspired by the Book of James, we believe faith should be visible through action. Our mission is to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ through practical acts of mercy and by supporting trusted community organizations that serve people in crisis.
